For many years, Jim Avignon has been performing as the one-man band Neoangin. The New York Times described his sound as “packed with cartoonish characters and clever commentaries on Berlin’s gentrification.” Odd titles, defiant beats, a quickly contagious melancholic cheerfulness, and an extra-large dose of DIY charm are the ingredients for this very special sound.
